Space them properly and give them the proper run times. You are talking .3"/hr so an 1" of water is going to take 3 hours. If GPM is an issue then they are definitely a good option. I'd use the 2000s mostly then the 3000s and the 1000s in knooks and crannies or maybe the parkway. Make sure those heads are set perfect. No leaning whatsoever. Put drip in the beds. You also might want to look at that new TORO orgasmic nozzle as an option. I've never used it but others may opine.

40 is where its at. Great successes here with all of the heads, 1-3.
That makes sense based on the MP spray body with built-in pressure compensating to 40psi.

Has anyone used these? I have a couple of samples in the shop but haven't tried them yet. Rumor has it they make the MP1000 usable. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Since the strainers cannot be removed to clean, it's a pretty pricey nozzle to use in any kind of dirty water application. I think they're overrated ( we tested the first ones for Nelson @ Walla Walla) and other options should be considered. The run time kills most night/early morning applications on larger systems.

Looking to throw 20-30ft , why not just install rotors?
Sometimes you need something to retrofit someone's screwed up, overbuilt zone or you have plant material that you don't want to blast. Or, you are just pressure and/or flow shy and need some magic.

Even with choosing rotors, you have to take the lesser of the two evils. On one hand, the MP, on the other, wimpy, junior rotors that have less-than-stellar longevity records.

Ditto, Mps are made for screw ups and medium-range rotors are iffy.
