I have a honda OHV mower. Master's series. It starts easily with one pull on choke. It runs about 2-3 seconds and then dies. If you pull the cord again, it starts right up and then dies again. Thanks for any suggestions.

Pull carb, clear all ports and jets. Pull the emulsion tube in the barrel of the carb and clean all ports.
Problem appears to be a simple lack of fuel. Don't know which engine you have but the carb may also incorporate a sediment bowl--pull it and clean as well it this applies.
As suggested,I removed the carburetor and pushed a wire through all the openings and blew them out. I then put it back together and it worked like new. You guys were a great help. Have a great day!
