Last year I had a F150 with the 4.6 engine. It did not have enough power to get on the interstate when pulling a loaded trailler. This year I bought a F250 Lariet S.D. with a V10. I have a lot more power and my gas milage is about the same when I am pulling a trailler. I do not drive enough miles to warrent a diesel motor. What is your ideal truck?

The Ford F-350 Powerstroke Diesel! The best truck out there. For everything. The torque is great, the power is wonderful, and the dependability is awesome. Spend the extra dough and get the diesel! Also, my PSD gets close to 21 MPG on the highway, about 17 in the city (provided I dont gun teh engine like crazy). Once you get them broken in (about 150,000 miles or so) they are great. I have 250,000 on mine, it still is working great. Up to the quarter million mark.
