Thinking of purchasing a sprayer to mount on my Ferris mower. Looking into a front mount model from Turf Ex as well as a rear mount by a different company. Skeptical about putting that much weight on the rear with the motor. Any input from anyone who has one of these or tried one would be appreciated.

I'd be more comfortable putting the weight on the rear where the tire contact patch is 4-6 times the size of the front. The problem you might run into on either end is the suspension system on your ferris.

I have a fimco boom sprayer on my atv and it works great. With a little fabrication it could easily be adapted to fit on a ztr. The price for it is around $450.

The price is definitely hard to beat. I'll take a look at them. The one I was looking at was double the price, but it came with a hand nozzle and 25 ft hose to use for spot spraying, trees, shrubs, etc. Could be a nice feature.
