I just got a stihl fs 90 R. I think it came with 0.95. im hell on string like its nothing. Would .105 hold up better. hell what does everybody else uses?
Bingo...........we have a winner!!!Last year when I was running a crew I went through 13 lawns(not small) with 1 spool from one of our FS 90's. My technique is letting the tip cut only and not the entire string. 0.095.
That's getting pretty personal isn't it?What's your string size?
Bigger than yours.whats your string size?
What a wimp!.080 round
Thats sounds like the string i use. Arnold, extreme titanium. .095 Lasts FOREVERI usually use .095 kevlar reinforced line and it cuts great. But when I bought my robin trimmer it had some kind of red .095 that lasted me all season long. One spool! I couldn't believe it! I wish I knew what type of line that was I'd buy that in a heart beat!!
whatever, for all you folks who think this string is better than this other I got news,What a wimp!
Punt where do get this line?Thats sounds like the string i use. Arnold, extreme titanium. .095 Lasts FOREVER
umm.. okay captain planet, you keep thinking that.whatever, for all you folks who think this string is better than this other I got news,
trimmer string isn't sold by what color, which shape, how long or how thick it is.
It is sold by WEIGHT.
All of it, every last piece of trimmer string you ever bought, buy and will buy, is sold to you by how much it weighs.
Which is lighter, a pound of feathers or a pound of stone?
Answer: a pound of .080 contains just as much plastic as a pound of .095
The 080 wears faster but you get more of it.
It all adds out.
Round, square, thin, thick, green, red, gay or straight.
It's all the same, they make it in different flavors but that's so they can have the sheeple bamboozled.
Here you go.Punt where do get this line?
