Sure is but it will cost a lot of money. You need just for starters, a starter, battery, flywheel, different stator, ignition switch, wiring harness and a bunch of other stuff. You'd be better off trading it in on a electric start model.

What they said sums it up, I know for myself it's not worth doing unless you're
already replacing the engine, and even then it's a major bit of work.

And after it's all said and done, I'd still just as soon have recoil.

I have a 2004 scag 48 walkbehind that has a 17hp Kawasaki recoil start engine. Is there any way that I can convert it to electric?
Check on Ebay there is al lot ok kits avaible, between the kit an a bettery th cost should be around 150$ not bad. However if you have to replace the flywheel its probably not worth it

The flywheel is one of the main ingredients. That's what the starter engages on to turn the engine over.
Perhaps your right, I have a giant vac brush mower with a 13hp hond and also a 36" ferris mower 13hp kawasaki that I looked into converting to electric start and if I rembemer correctly the cost would have been around 150$ each. I also toink you can keep the rope starter connected after the conversion.

Funny thing is I had to purchase a whole rope starter rof the kawasaki and it was over 100$.

For regular use electric starter is 10x better than a rope. Having both on the same engine would be nice
