Guys,
I know this isn't really a topic for the traditional application thread. But I am curious to know one thing!
I am venturing out for this Spring in purchasing the Rodenator system for mole eradication. The Question--" Has anyone ran into complications with the animal rights activists or with city and local animal control laws? I was notified by the company computer system sales staff that my area has no one that has purchased a unit for commercial use on resi's and commercials. I am wanting to bang the pavement with door hanger's, publication ads, and possibly radio.
I am wondering seriously about the a animal huggers as this system uses concussive means to kills moles, pocket gophers, mice, etc.

The mole tunnels are too shallow . Won't work on them very good. It will work on gophers. The problem is, in town with close neighbors, they will freak out when you rattle their windows !

The rodenator is LOUD. You will have a hard time using it in town .

From the video I saw, the results after are worse than the damage burrowing critters do.

It is pretty cool though.:cool2: I am thinking a minimum amount of alcohol is required before starting.

I agree that it looks like a tool used by Carl Spackler (Thanks Ric!)!!
It can be a useful tool for those that want the critter's gone and now!!
It may be noisy.......and messy but with a tarp placed in strategic areas, the mess is minimal.
As far as the bang......as long as it is within ordinance and with license......who cares.
I consider the bang as an attention getter to generate business. If those moles are gone, then money is to be made.

The noise is a BIG problem, been there done that.

Won't work on moles either, but you have your mind made up, go for it.

The rodenator is a very poor choice. The varmit getter is a much better system.
You don't have to hold the varmit getter during the explosion.

Yep it must get Cold in Them There Hills. But if worse comes to worse you can always hook it up to a Long 4 inch ID pipe and make a signal cannon. That way you would be a Hit at the Hillbilly 4th of July party. Your most famous last words might be "Look here you ain't going to believe This."

Or better Yet when that up scale HOA calls and asks if you can get rid of Mole. Your reply can be "Mr HOA President when we finish Moles are going to be the Least of your Problem. Law suits from Residents falling into the Craters formed by the Rodenator, will keep you busy".

This thread is completely turned into a personal debate!
Something that cannot be solved with the keyboard. It is solved now!
The beef between Ric and me is something we shared in another past forum. It is nothing new for us.
He is a force to be dealt with.............even if he touches nerves. I do not dislike anyone on this forum for their responses.
The main idea for this thread was for a business opportunity that is obviously not worth the efforts to invest into.

Thanks all for participating in my question. That goes to you Fl. Scapes.

Thanks Ric,
I seek advice from those before me that has invested money into these types of snake oil apparatuses. At first this tool appeared to be a real problem solver, then after watching the video and doing some soul searching, I resigned my interest. I agree that with the idea of natural gas leaks that go undetected at residential sites will be a problem. I do not want to blow up myself nor residential and commercial buildings...........Funny as Carl Spakler would say! but in reality, the market in farm situations will be futile.
I enjoy this site with its realistic views and some sarcastic one's. It takes all kinds of people to make a forum work together. Even if some of the remarks are crude, there is a balance.
Yes, my interest in the Rodenator is stupid.......but the interest was short lived.
No harm Ric.....thanks!!!

Yes, I am on the band wagon of seeking quicker......more profitable proliferate ways to make money. Ways that is more reliable and results are quicker.........as people of today want things done with visuals.

ok, sounds like you guys can agree to disagree or, at least, see each others point of view...so, I'm going to close this one down

thanks :waving:
