Terex pt 60 vs Newholland c227

I'm looking at buying a new skid steer I have a asv rc 60 now and want to upgrade but was wondering if anyone has some experience with a c227 it will be used for mostly landscaping . The reason I'm looking at theres brands is because they are the only two where i live all other brand dealers are approx. 2 hrs away.I like my rc 60 but a new pt 60 is approx. 10000 more than a c227 is a terex really that much better to demand a 20% premium? Thanks

The terex is a 2 speed with really fast travel speed. The ground clearance, approach/departure angle is unmatched. It has a super light foot print but still is very efective for winter work. That's why I chose Terex.

I'm going to check out a pt 70 to see what there like seem to be a little more compact and more comparable to a 227. Not many of these around seem to all be 60 or 80 around here.I doubt there dealer here will have one but I'll see .

While the ASV can do almost 12 MPH, I think the question is how useable is that speed. Maybe doing snow removal that speed has value, but without ride control which I dont think ASV has, I am not sure how useable that speed is in a dirt moving application even with a suspended undercarriage.

Good point. I can't speak for the PT60, but my RC50 does 8mph and the suspension actually helps a lot with bucket retention. I don't know that I'd be able to hammer it over an obstacle course, but I don't have any qualms about running fast on a normal job site. Another nice thing about the suspension is that its free along with standard 8mph with the basic price of the machine, and not an option.

Decided on a Kubota svl 75 just couldn't deal with that little cab again these things are super quiet inside and very comfortable to run . To much snow here yet to really try it out, very late spring here and cold.
