I have the Stihl SG20, keep it indoors when not in use but, still leaks/sweats somewhere. Bought a Lesco backpack sprayer with extendable wand but, seems like I'm always pumping. The spray nozzle isn't very comfortable either. I always clean the tank after every use. Any suggestions?

I also have a Stihl SG20 and have not had a single problem with it after 2 yrs. Keep it strapped to the trailer except in winter and it just keeps working.

Have 4 SG20 Stihl sprayers. They perform flawlessly. The leaking that people keep referring to is actually from the lid. There's a small hole to allow for ventilation/vacuum break and if the tank is full and you bend over, it forces the liquid to seep out of the hole.

Bend/Squat at the legs instead of bending over at an angle and problem solved.

Solo has always had a good name, and a friend of mine uses about 6 opf them. Myself, I can tell you that anything made by Swissmex is a fantastic product (I use 4 of them). The RL Pro and the SP Systems are both made by Swissmex. They will last yewars and years. Above is a post by someone who bought one from Home depot years ago. This may very well be one of these sprayers, as HD used to carry these (no longer do around here).

What is the difference in the rounded solo style and the squared off stihl type? Does one strap down better in the bed of a truck?

I bought a Stihl SG20 3 years ago. In a hurry, I filled it and started using it. I never saw the manual in the tank. It turned to a slurry of pulp! I dismantled the whole thing, cleaned out the paper and it works perfectly. No leaking or sweating.

I'd take it apart and check seals & O rings. It can be done without the manual.

Spo or sp1 for me personally Lesco keeps changing there brand or style per year I buy 16 a year for 16 mow crews because they all seem to break at least the wands I think this is more of user error but they all break or leak according to my Lesco guy eventually now we use ours for commercial props so at least 1-2 hrs per day
