I got a PZT 60 about a month ago when I was also in the market for a new ZT. Out of all the shops in town, the Husqvarna is by far the most impressive. I liked the MZ a lot, but REALLY wanted a true commercial motor. When I saw that the PZT came with the Kawi FX, I was sold. The PZT was a couple thousand more, but for me, it was worth it. My yard has me mowing 6.5-7 hours a week with some hills.

Here's my weeds first starting to come in and the first cut.

I'm really surprised these machines aren't more popular than they are. I sure love mine.

Anybody looking at the mz 6128 should be aware that it's specs have changed some since last year. I got mine last year largely because it used the 3400 series trans and had 23" tires and was $200 cheaper than the others I was considering. This year I noticed that they are using the 3100 trans and 22" tires and is $100 more. Maybe some other changes, I'm not sure. I suppose they could have made some improvements in some areas, too, to be fair.

It's still a nice machine, but not quite the same now,

They downgraded it so they could make a case for the new m-zt 61. It has 3400 series and 23 inch tires.
I see. Thanks. I'm sure glad I got my 6128 when I did. No way can I even go 10 mph on my ground, or need the extra 2hp. or ROPS. Everything else like the linkages and deck adjustment and all look the same. So for $1000 more, they gave it 2 hp more and let it go faster and gave it a ROPS

It must make marketing sense for them, but they lost a lot of edge over the competition by downgrading the 6128 so much and increase the price at the same time. It was that edge that sold me on it.

I posted in the homeowner thread but why not here too. I just picked up an 2012 MZ6128 with zero hours. Nice machine cut mowing time by a little over an hour and I was able to eliminate some trimming time by getting closer / under trees I couldn't previously. Well built machine, runs strong, cut looks nice, etc. I'm like a kid in a candy store right now.

Question - Is everyone still running the supplied blades or have people moved over to something else?
