Sounds like a good price. a pull start 36" v ride is $6100. Who knows, maybe you could talk him down even more!

That's ridiculously cheap, you'd be crazy not to get it if you're looking for a larger deck stander

I appreciate your response. Planning on picking it up tonight and demoing it tomorrow. This will be my first stand on mower, so I am excited to put it to work.

I just got a quote for the exact same mower today and including the $500 off from Scag it was $8152 out the door with tax.. Sounds like I need to talk to your dealer.:waving:

That's why I don't think I can pass it up. Found out today while demoing it, it's actually a 2013 not a 2014. So that's why it's so discounted.

So, the demo went well. It's an amazing mower and I plan to buy it. Just two things I noticed. #1 After mowing the first yard I noticed dust was building up around the right hydro pump. There is a slow leak around one of the hydro lines. I know some 2013 models had an issue with this. #2 I noticed that the operator pad is not adjustable. So I got to doing a little research and it turns out the mower is a 2013 not a 2014 with an adjustable pad. Does anyone know if there is a big difference between the 2013 and 2014 model?

I bought a brand new 2014 61" v-ride 27hp kawi last march for $7500 out the door. Price seems awful high for a lesser mower in the sense it is just smaller. The pad is infinitely adjustable via 2-4 7/16 nuts on the back side of the pad. No quick adjust per say but easy and quick enough to find your main position. Probably not a leak at all. Dust clings to the sliightest of moisture as you know. Nothing to worry about but of course keep an eye on everything as usual. Mine does the same thing. Wipe it clean and watch for anything significant.

Thats around $500 more so that sounds about right for a 61". Thanks for the info on the pad. It was definitely a leak. I could see oil in the line.
