I have a Gravely pro turn 160 with a Kawasaki engine, bought new last year. It has 37 hours on it. Last weekend after using it I hosed it off like I normally do and blew off the excess water. It started right up and I parked it. Today I go to use it and when turning the key it won't make a sound, no click, no low oil light, nothing. The hour meter is still working and I've made sure the parking brake is on and the blades disengaged. I know it's under warranty but I need to mow today, any help on what to look for???
Thanks for any help.

Check fuses and make sure the wire is on starter clip and not came off good places to begin. Also be sure all safety clips are hooked in.

Got it....... I found a 20 amp fuse that was hiding... It was blown
No more washing it down I guess..
From your description of no power my bet was a fuse, wash it again when you get the chance, it may very well not happen again, but if it does you will immediately know to make sure the fuse is covered before washing. I pressure wash my mowers with fuses showing and have never had a problem of any type.

Both fuses that were blown were in the factory cover/cases. One was a 15amp on the left side frame, it was dripping with water. The other 20 amp was not wet but blown. I'm wondering if the starter may have an issue, after using it today I let it idle while blowing it off and when I shut it off it made a strange sound (like the starter teeth were grinding on the flywheel. I tried to start it back up and the 20 amp fuse blew again..... So I put in another fuse and when turning the key the starter "clunked" but didn't turn the engine over, so I released the key and did it again and it turned over and started like normal. I shut it off (no noise from the starter this time) and restarted it and it started like normal. I did this a few times and every now and then the starter would not turn over but just engage and "clunck" but not turn over. I will let the dealer know what's going on to see if they want to look at it, and to document it.

You've got a starter problem, and if you keep starting the engine with the starter drive not allowing the pinion gear to engage the flywheel precisely and immediately you can damage your engine flywheel. I would want the starter removed and the engine flywheel physically inspected, and would request a new starter if in warranty. You can easily see where the pinion gear on the starter drive will have damaged cogs (teeth) if not engaging correctly. The blown fuse is also an indicator of too much power draw from the starter.
