Hey folks.
Just bought the Honda HHT35S to help trim a handful of spots on my 5 acres that the garden tractor can't quite reach/handle. Problem is the bump-feed head is driving me nuts. I get maybe a few minutes of trimming, needing to bump it a few times to get more string, before the string vanishes back into the spool head completely.
Way I see it, there are a few options:
1. I suck at this and somehow I'm managing to do something that messes everything up every time I touch it.
2. I'm trying to use the wrong head on the wrong kind/density of brush.
3. The head that came with this thing is junk.
There might be some overlap here. I'm not sure about #2 though. I'm not trying to chop down trees with it or anything. While it's working it seems to go through the stuff I'm trying to trim without too much trouble, it's just that it doesn't work very long before I have to turn it off and refeed the line.
Any help would be great, thanks.
