Which do you prefer. I have a flat-free tire on one wheelbarrow and there seems to be a ton of rolling resistance when its loaded with anything remotely heavy. I'm thinking of swapping to a pneumatic tire. What do you guys think?

I have both .I have flat free on a dual wheel wheelbarrow ,it's just awesome at heavy heavy loads ,and I have a single wheel flat free as well ,but I prefer my other single with a pneumatic tire for most things with a standard wheelbarrow .No more dealing with flats on these stupid ass Chinese tires is the best reason to switch .

Flat free tires are a good idea in theory. Pneumatic tires perform much better with a load...not even close.

Flat free are design more for homeowner wheelbarrows and have a high rolling resistance when they deform from a load. Get a quality wheelbarrow with at least a 4-ply tire and you will be happy with it.

They sure do. Flat free tires are made from urethane foam. Instead of the air in a tire being compressed, the foam is compressed. They can be formulated to match pneumatic tires of different pressures, to match the application.
They deform just as much or little as a pneumatic tire.

Then again, we don't use wheelbarrows for anything other than mulch. That's what our Dingo is for.
