I'm dealing with a brick patio covered in moss that is pretty thick. Have hit it with Diquat twice and didn't seem to faze it much, do you think Quicksilver will have a better effect?

Some moss control products contain iron sulfate.
Consider iron for moss control. I would use liquid. Naturally you may get some staining. Moss turns black. Concrete, rusty brown.
I have never tried quick silver on moss but the label states silvery moss i have never seen this kind all the moss i have seen is green.try baking soda that will turn it brown.
I tested a retail (Bonide) liquid iron(5%) and minerals supplement (8 oz per gallon) on some full-cover moss in our shady flower garden. I compared it with untreated and with Quicksilver, (after 12 hours no results from the Quicksilver).
The iron (on the right) at 24 hours turned the moss black. More results later.
