Last summer at the NC State field day, they presented a study on killing off bermudagrass. They asked the question, how much bermudagrass came back after three treatments of glyphosate? The answer, 80%.

I battle bermudagrass in zenith (and other zoysiagrasses) on a regular basis. There's no way I would lay zenith sod over a previously bermudagrass turf.
Interesting. I renovated my side yard last year that had bermuda. I killed it with glyphosate (don't remember how many treatments) and seeded zenith zoysia. I have very little bermuda. What do use to treat bermuda?

A customer used it in their garden. We have been applying soil, soil amendments, & seeding for several seasons. Still having trouble getting grass to grow there.

Again, cool season grasses are extremely sensitive to Imazapic and Imazapyr. Residue in soil may remain for more than one year, especially in areas where winters are long.

Good news. It looks like you have some tiny new crabgrass coming up in the lower left corner.
My sign that a herbicide mistake is no longer a problem is the presence of weeds.
