Yes, but from Harbor Freight #97062 surprisingly they work great.
I have a few that picked up from HF years ago, for under $3 a piece.
They're not Felcos, but they get a lot right.

The locking lever tends not to work as well as the real deal. The steel isn't as good, and the relief cut on the blade is missing, so the blades are more likely to build up sap and start to stick.

But for a tool you might lose or loan out, they're quite good.

stihl hand held tools are top quality and no where near the cost of felcos.
I'll agree that Stihl sells top quality hand tools, but I won't agree that they're less expensive than Felco.

I've got two Felco 8 pruners. My favorite pruner is my Stihl PP70.

So, for comparison.

Felco #2 MSRP $60.40 - Amazon $49.18 - weight 240g
Felco #8 MSRP $58.07 - Amazon $47.52 - weight 245g
Stihl PP 70 Local Dealer $49.99
ARS VS-7XZ Amazon $55.78 - weight 212g

What Stihl sells as the PP 70 here in the US, is an older handle style that ARS has replaced with the VS-7XZ in Japan. I believe that the newer ARS version is a little heavier, though I cannot find a stated weight for the Stihl online. Also, the Stihl version comes with local dealer support, and a lifetime warranty, while if you go with ARS, you've got to deal with them directly for warranty (not that you'll need to).

For comparison, Stihl:

I like Corona. Not too expensive and the ones I use are solid steel. I have had things with aluminum handles snap in my hands.

Well I did some calling around and locally I can purchase felcos, Stihl, and ars. I did find a garden shop that carries the okatsune but would not be in stock till early spring. I most likely will end up with another felco as my local nursery sells them along with all the fancy accessories. My last felcos still had alot of life considering it grew legs!
