Hi all. I'm new here. I have a Scag tiger cat with a kawa fx730v for my personal property. Wasn't getting fuel. I had fuel to the fuel pump but none coming out. Replaced the pump and still no fuel. It is installed correctly and the line to the crankcase provides good suction. Any ideas? Am I supposed to prime the pump somehow? How do I do that? I'm handy with stuff like this but don't do it often. Thanks for any help.

the valve open? did fuel come out of the inlet hose to the fp or can you blow air into the tank? is the straw in the tank attached?

change the oil and filter, if it has gas smell to it and make sure the level is safe to operate. Engine needs room inside the block to rotate. Liquids don't compress so seals will blow at the least if it's too high and gas makes the oil pretty useless.
