It will always have fresh oil sure. But the contaminates dont leak out they stay in the machine.

They have been marketing these no oil change machines for years. The wheels cables and handles were out before the motor anyway so why bother with an oil change.
 
How many cc's is this engine?
 
The big plastic cowling they put on these engines is comical. Push mowers using the Briggs are practically identical versions of the little vertical shaft motor. Some of the best yet cheapest motors ever made. Not much to them under the cover, but they run like champs maintained or not.
 
I have a toro smart stow for more than ten years and never changed the oil once. Every time I checked oil it was clean. I would recommend changing air cleaner if you generate a lot of dust and dirt. I am a retired aircraft technician and have worked on many mowers in the past.
