I'm in mood to buy a couple of echo blowers for this season.i bought one pb2520 but the '2620 is on back order and they don't know for how long. I've still got my old stihl hand held so I'm not stuck, should I buy a second 2520 or is 2620 worth waiting for. The 2620 has a couple nice features, the bigger air filter, second tube with duck bill end and steel ring on end of round tube which the 2520 lacks. is it worth the wait.

I'd get the 2620. I have had the Shindaiwa version (EB262) and it's fantastic. I use it to blow leaves from under shrubs and out of evestrough when the bigger blowers don't fit or don't work. It's got good power and pretty good on fuel. Add in some nice commercial features like antivibration handles and motor that's rated to go 300 hours for its emissions durability compared to 50 hours on the pb2520 and it's worth the extra money. If you want the Shindaiwa version, the have Fleet week going on this month. You'll get a 15-20% discount and that should bring the price down towards that of the pb2520.
