I guess I've never been soaked with oil and grease from running a trimmer. Or never really smell like 2 cycle eather.
Me neither, how does that even happen?
Electric is being embraced by operators that never understood the ICE and thus always had bad experiences with them. Electric is the answer to their prayers.

^^^^ total bunk. I’ve run gas trimmers for 30 plus yrs and have owned more than 50 units.

batt are just better. Push button start, no carbs, less vibration and noise, instant WOT, no idling between trim spots

sure There’s negatives. They don’t replace +25cc trimmers. But for weekly type mow blows battery is far superior.

Yea. You can’t let out as much line without losing torque so they not good on overgrown turf.

I carry gas and batt. Batt get 95% of use after spring growth as all our stuff is weekly there’s rarely overgrowth.

running .080 line on bat units helps, especially if you running no guards

The thing is. I'm not at all apposed to batt equipment.
But for government to mandate the end of gas equipment in only 21 more months is total crap.
Here in MN starting Jan 1st 2025 no more sales of any gas equipment under 25 hp.
How many batteries will it take to trim 2500 headstones at one of our cemeteries? Also we trim several miles of chain link each week.
Let the market mature as it will.
Nobody Had to force people to buy cars. Market forces work.

So in a few years with big leaf jobs to do in the Fall and the big gas BP blowers are worn out its up to battery blowers to get it done? The thought of that is pretty scary from both the commercial operator and homeowner/DIY'er's POV. Is there a battery BP blower with 800+ CFM and 220+ mph right now? If so, how long does it put that out on one battery?

Living in certain states, run by people with a certain ideologies, will soon make it feel like you are living in China. And by the time people realize that, it will be too late to change it back.

All those tremors that are felt on the west coast are not earthquakes. It's all of their grand fathers and great grandfathers, who sacrificed their lives for us, all rolling over in their graves at the same time trying to get peoples attention.

Couldn't agree more. I can't speak for living under such communist rule. I live in a constitutional carry state with strong Stand Your Ground Laws. I still think it needs MORE individual rights. Every Vote I make is to extend individual rights and liberties.

I chose battery powered small equipment because it fits my needs better. Anyone making decisions on the right tool for the job based on Virtue Signaling? Well that's where Karma comes in.

I do not Virtue Signal.

I found a lot of Virtue Signaling and SJW's recently when the right decided to boycott bud light. It's kind of like hypocrisy.
I have seen no rules posted in this forum. I do not intend to break any rules. If there are rules against letting ones beliefs known. Please point them out to me. Thanks.

I am for all individual rights. Yours too! Even if I don't care for them. As long as you are not hurting others. My feelings must not infringe on your rights and liberties.

I could care less if Anheuser-Busch uses a Tranny in their advertising.

I don't care if.

A guy likes other men, if a girl likes other women, If a man wants to be a girl or if a girl wants to be a guy.

If a individual wants to be put on a leash and be walked around on all fours. As long as they aren't exposing them self in public or sticking their snout in people's crotch. "ITS THEIR LIFE"

If that hurts someone's feelings. Well feelings must not supersede one's freedoms.

Correct.
What about all the female athletes freedom to compete against other female athletes?
And not have to compete against men claiming they are women?
Or woman of the year award in 2023, won by a man?
Or men prisoners who go to women's prisons because they claim to be a woman now.
I'm 100% for individual liberty, but not at a cost that victimizes women. Or children.
