8 year old thread.......up from the dead......to die once more......many things have changed in 8 years, but not noobies bringing back the dead.....

i did get to ride a BB renagade gas model thats the top of the line and it felt great. I did not get to cut cause was a new unit but did drive nice. Looks built very well also. Felt like a john deere z950 but nicer ride

Kubota, Kioti, Branson... you see a lot of these. I haven't used a Branson but have used plenty of Kubota (solid) and a couple of Kioti's and they "seem" to be pretty solid units. No idea on the Branson, though the only person I spoke with who has one loves his coming off an older Kubota.

I forgot about Mahindra, I only used one of those once and it seemed like a cheap Kubota knockoff.
Mahindra is different. Kioti is the Kubota knock off. Literally, a guy who was from Kubota (Japan) left and went to S. Korea and started Kioti. So close to identical it's uncanny. Makes you wonder if Kubota financed it so they could make money on the offshoot. Purely speculation on my part. I've worked on both brands and it is just silly how close to an exact copy Kioti is from Kubota.

Kioti seems like a great bang for the buck

It would seem.
Good warranty. Good price point. Solid machine.

But.

Kubota dealers are easy to find. Kioti not so much. They are popping up.

It’s like LS. New Holland tractors and at one point the Case IH version, are made by LS. LS tractors are the same. Parts interchange, but not part numbers. LS is much cheaper. So, do you spend less and get an LS? Or buy New Holland? Depends on who the closest dealer is.

And resale. Resale is always better on name brands regardless of whether they are made by the same company. Most lack knowledge so tend to stay with a name they know.
