Here's the timeline that got us to where we at now:
Vertical Scope buys Lawnsite.
VS allows hundreds of online robots to be members every month(if not thousands)
VS fires the moderator holding the string that kept things together.
Robots now post content that is libel.
Walnut Ridge now has a pretty good lawsuit against VS.

I called them again :LOL:. Secretary put me to someone's voicemail again. We demand answers here !!!!!!!

I didn't leave a message. I'm inclined just to let it ride but any input is welcome on this one.

Why would VS have any liability?

What if they hired a third party marketing company and this is the work of the lowest paid sub ?

I don't know-I am the lawnmower man not a lawyer. I'm sure there's a disclaimer in TOS that limits their liability and then there's the first amendment to the Bill of Rights but even my argument could probably get this in front of a judge. A case like this could set precedent for cases with similiar nature in the future.....

which moderator was fired? is wye oak tree the only one left? hes the only regularly active one ive been seeing on here.

Uncle Mike. Michael J. Donovan. He was much more than a mod or administrator towards the end. He did quite a bit behind the scenes to help transition the switchover to VS.

The case lacks any malice and if it's a copy and paste of verbiage from their website or elsewhere then most likely no crime has been committed.

I was wondering what happened to him! I was under the impression he was the owner though.

You have to be able to prove damages to win a case in court and I don't see any damage done. We also still don't if the company hired a someone for SEO. That would make this whole thing seem logical. At any rate , don't mind if I play both sides of the coin.
