I recently purchased used, a thatcher & aerator. Both have hondas.Ones a 5.5 hp the other is a 4 hp. What are the 2 oil fill holes for? One plug has a dipstick the other does not.Any ideas how much oil they hold? :usflag:

I was thrown off for a second too... thought I was missing something.. is just there in case you cant acces the main one or connect it to a few other fhings. most of the time you dont need to worry about it... just check that its not loose once in whileI recently purchased used, a thatcher & aerator. Restor Bob,The gray dipstick can be put in place of the black plug if the engine is mounted on a machine the dipstick can't be gotten to for oil checking. Both holes lead to the engine crankcase, Drain the oil from the lower plug and re-fill through EITHER upper plug for proper oil level.
I have never seen a pressure washer with a clutch, Most are direct drive right off the crankshaft or through a gear reduction box as pugs mentioned earlier.
