What's the best site to improve your web presence?

Don't have one yet? Then you don't have a web presence. That simple.

It's interesting about other sites that supposedly help web presence. Did you know that every directory like Yahoo's or DMOZ would totally collapse and implode without our websites?

    They can't exist without us.

Our sites are what gives them any kind of web presence. So the number one site for web presence is my site. Is your site.

What about LandscapersBay? I don't have a website, but I still can be found on the internet. Or, myspace.com for that matter, or starting a blog?

You can have a webpresence without spending money on a website.

To that point I think it would depend on the image you are trying to convey. I personally would not contact a prospective service provider based off a myspace spot. Nor would I go to any of the Service Magic type sites. Blogs are relatively new and one day may be as pivotal as a website, I don't think they are there yet though.

All of these sites could be great secondary presences...

I saw a tree worker try that on MySpace.

It wasn't his website though. Belongs to myspace.

Myspace pages don't really get very much traffic period - even less for potential customers.

True, but somehow I doubt they're going down anytime soon
