Kicking around going for the 3rd time this year. I don't really need to make any big equipment purchases for 2018 BUT driving new stuff around in the demo area is FUN!
Lol at stander leaf blowers
LOL at small minded people that can't grasp their utility.
Laugh all you want, but 85-90% of mower jockeys around me have them on their trailers\trucks. Both my mowing crews have them.
As I've said, they aren't just for leaves.
PS Plowers in GR have been using back blades i.e. "Pull Plows" for 60 years and they're just starting to catch on around the country. Limited, but more people are buying them.
I can't even convince 2/3 of the people of the utility of use of a walk behind wheeled blower from 8-11hp like giant vac or fradan.
"Oh no! A back pack is alllllll you need"
Then they whine about morning dew and clumping grass.
I used to have an 8 hp little wonder or giant vac on every mow trailer,
Blow off the lawn if needed
Blow off the driveway like a champ.
"Omg they're sooo heavy"
Don't carry them
I can't imagine how hard it is to sell a stand in blower in any kind of volume with the number of people out there who won't even buy a push blower.
Got my airfare bought so the wife and I are going.
We are on an every other year plan.....
This year will be my first time....Is the show as good as they make it out to be??
Yes its a good one, everyone who's everyone in the Lawn/Landscape industry is there company wise, most of which bring toys to ride on outside the conv. center. Also, take the time to do 4th St Live and a concert and see some of the sights in and around LVille too. Let your guys back home do the work for a few days while you get a small breather for the fall stretch run.....
Would love to attend
For the life of me I don't understand why the big mower manufacturers don't incorporate an aux PTO drive blower with directable output on the commercial mowers. Blades off blower on zip around. Done.
Sometimes I think exmark, scag, etc don't understand how the equipment is used in real life.
