oooooooohhhhhhhhhhh I hate the briggs carbs, at least on my five horse its conected to the fuel tank and it's so complex, i like the old techcumsh (spelling) carbs easy to work on sorry i cant help you go to your library, i got a get briggs manual there, used it to rebuild my motor
On your engine shroud you should find 3 sets of numers..Model--type and code take those number to a B & S dealer and they will be able to print out a diagram for you. They can even fix the problem for a few dollars. If you do not know what you are doing do not attempt it. That's why I have my shop mechanice work on my equipment..
