    Hello all,
I wrote awhile ago about starting problems with this mower - thanks for all of the replies. I do need to buy a carb kit because the float is not working correctly. However, I still have spark problems. On the back of the mower is an electrical connector with three wires. The connector operates the ignition switch and the blade PTO. I have to start the mower with the connector unplugged (key switch is on and toggle for blade PTO is off). Once running when I try and plug the connector in, the engine will want to quit from lack of spark. However, on the third or forth try, the connector plugs in and the mower runs good and I can engage the blades. Do I have a short, a bad clutch, or something else? Does anyone know how the wiring circuit is arranged or have any suggestions.
    Thanks, Jeff
