I need how much weight all these trucks can hold in the bed + a 5x10 single axle trailer attached.
I currently own a 2006 chevy silverado 1500 v6. It can only hold 25 bags of mulch in the bed and 100 pushing it on the trailer.
I need my truck + trailer to hold at least 200 bags of mulch. what size truck do i need?
    Would a V8 long bed work or do i need a 250/2500/2500hd?
    Please give your advice!

A V8 powered 1500 series truck will not haul more than a V6, it will just go faster. A 2500HD series truck (any brand with any engine, gas or diesel will do) is what you need.

As opposed to going through the cost of buying a new truck, why not pay for your landscape supply company to deliver the much?

You don't need a bigger truck, you need a bigger trailer! I have a 1995 chevy silverado 2wd that I pull a 16' tandem trailer with 2 pallets of sod on it. It would pull 3 but I haven't needed 3 pallets yet. I have pulled my loader with it and didn't have any problems with it. Just can't follow too close even with e-brakes. That was before I got the dump truck.
