I am thinking about selling a 1994 Walker Diesel GHS with 1300 hours. I just put new low pro tires and wheels on it. Upgraded the steering levers and had all scheduled maintenance done. It runs and cuts perfectly. All components work. It also has lights, arm rests, and is a 7 bushel bagger. 16.5 Kubota Diesel. The condition I would say is very good to excellent. Anyone care to share what they think it's worth? Thanks

It has the flip-up deck. Also, had the removable screen kit installed. It is the same style shaft as the newer machines I believe. I will check. I run this machine on a commercial account for about 5-6 hours straight once a week. Also, I mow several residential lawns with it weekly. It holds up very well. Very reliable.

My local dealer had a used 1993 deisel they were selling for $7900! I dropped my jaw but I don't know what they did to it. They could have put in a new motor?

Walker has a "bluebook" they publish , ask your dealer.

your machine is a earlier unit eg smaller diesel engine
To acheive good resale it would have to be in excellent condition . Due to its age but more so the later generation units are more refined and to some degree a little more productive . Walker constantly upgrades machines eg most parts on my 96 gasers and 2ooo diesel have been upgraded [faster ,more durable and more reliable parts]

    pto box
    drive shaft
    electrical switches etc
    catcher box reinforcement
    engines have increased in size
    chassis strenghtening
    gear axle redesign
belt drives redesign to prevent slipping
    linkages -controls
    air filter
decks and carrier frames eg 4 different 52 s/d generations

most maybe over 70 % of parts have been refined

Unless u can get a good price keep it for a spare and buy a -06 diesel with factory fitted 10.5 blower

The current blow is 10.25. Does the 10.5 make a big difference? Thanks

According to everyone i've talked to it does. The newer ones also have the electric fan with reversing module. That takes away the worry of always cleaning grass away from the radiator. I would guess around $3000-$4000.
