1st year Goals

    What were ur goals ur first year in business, did u guys achive them and what did you gross your first year ( come-on guys be honest)???

    Didn't set specific goals 1st year, just went wide open. Goals are the way to go though. Whatever yours are just make sure and write them down and track progress.

    Pretty broad question cecil. Everyone will have different goals depending on the nature of their biz, their desire to work hard, etc.
    For instance, I have a season gross goal, a resi/commercial goal, a work hours goal, etc.
    Longer term, I have future gross goals, and goals for expansion and hiring.

    If it helps, I grossed between 15-17K my first season (not giving exact #)

    I started late in the season last year but I set out to have 15 yards and I ended with 13 with 5 more interested in my services for this year and I was able to pay off all the equipment I needed to start my business.

    mine was to only get 10 yards but ended with almost 30.
