I have a 2001 Toro Z Master the deck is a 52" SFS, it seems like a shitty deck construction, it doesnt disperse grass well and leaves an okay cut I guess. The deck doesnt have any depth to it as the new models (Toro's and others) have. Any one have any experience with this or any knowledge about these decks/mowers??

I'm happy with my 52" SFS deck. It leaves a great cut. What blades are you using?

I am using a type of gator blade in order to disperse the grass. It does leave a decent cut I guess, I was referring more to how the deck doesn't disperse clippings very well, the reason for the gator blade is for the teeth to help this out. Any tips would help.

Back to the deck construction, anyone have any comments or anything for that matter?
