I'm looking at a 2002 Walker with almost 2400 hours on it. Is this to many hours? They have replaced one of the gears boxes other wise I think it is original.

Not sure about the walker but I'd say the engine is on the tail end of useful life.

I got one that is that age and it was in real bad shape.....one hydro out and lot of damage on frame. It was a 36" bagging unit. It did have a new 20hp engine on it. I got if for $1500 and put about $800 in it and it runs fine. We use it as a backup unit but I really like it for small properties. The hydro can cost around $500 but those gear boxes aren't that expensive for deck.
