Anyone notice that Gravely raised prices big time for 2006?
So, what company didn't raise prices on mowers? As a Gravely dealer, I was pleased that the prices on most of our machines did not go up too much. Prices on most models of the commercial machines went up about $200.00. however, the big diesel machines took a HUGE jump in price. The dealer cost on those, is now more than the price we were selling them for. On the diesels, I can only assume that Briggs jumped there engine prices way up.
Unless prices on steel, and fuel, stabilize, all manufacturers are going to have to continue with annual price increases, that are more than any of us would like to see.
all i can think of is gas went up in price, and shipping cost gets passed onto the consumer.
