    I have a question.....
I am looking to get an 07 Cehvy Silverado 1500 Z71...which will plow the amount of snow i need to do (very little) and work fine for my business. My question.....How much of the air dam/under bumper gets cut away?? I dont want it to look stupid...Right now my 04 1500 only has tow nothces under the bumer (the air dam cut) hardly noticable. Does ANYONE have a picture of this or has done this.? I will be mounting Western Ultra Mount Pro 7'6". Thanks for the help....

By the way.....the Z71 has all the items needed for the snow plow prep...145 amp alt, Z85 suspension, skid plates, HD transmission and they now have shocks and springs as opoosed to the torsion bars....5.3L also....Tough enough to work, easy on gas prices.

Dont cut away anything... Just remove all that plastic crap... Well, what style truck are you talkin about... The new style or the 04-07 style...

Not affraid to plow...my current 2004 1500 been plowing for 3 years, getting top value from the dealer. It's all about taking care of it...besides i only plow Two hotels (at every 2") and two churches (Again at every 2") so not alot of snow to push, besides DC get very erratic snow events...and i have a 2500 that my crew does 70% of our plowing, i do 10% and sub out other 20%

You hit the goldmine with that one. A church that I used to plow would only allow me to plow the lots every 6" unless it was right before church. The church only got used twice a week lol.

I had a Boss mounted on a 2001 and they removed the plastic piece. When I had one mounted on my 2002 what they did was bend the plastic when they mounted the brackets. You might look into this it looks a lot better.
