I am selling my great running Scag Vride. The Kawasaki motor runs smooth and the hydros are very tight and quiet. Also has a foot activated grass flap installed. The mower only has 530 hours on it and it runs and stripes like new, needs nothing. Asking $5300 or best cash offer. Located in Akron OH

Nice you did exactly what I did with the Grassflap cable and foot pedal....attached it to a rear tie down instead of the platform

What do you think about the grass flap?? In considering adding one to my 36" vride on the tie down just as you have done.

Do like it, and yes definitely attach to tie down. Make sure to mold the rear portion of the flap to the rounded part of the deck or grass will fly out the back.

It works great in that location. It’s out of the way from your standing space and it’s a quick up and down without ever taking your hands off of the controls.

How durable is the grass flap? Anybody owned one more than just one season?
