I have a 3 year old 21" snapper commercial mower. Does anyone know if there is a way to lock both rear wheels?? We were trying to mow a fairly steep hill today and the wheel with no traction was getting all the power.

Just weld the two parts together.

I 'll ask my Snapper mechanic tomorrow how to do it. He did this on a 21" Ninja I used on some hilly front yards at an apt. complex. There is a gear or o ring in the differential that can lock both drive wheels. Let ya know tomorrow..:D

If it's got spider gears, you can weld em together.

Get out the welder. I have about 8 of that style of mower(drivetrain) and that is about all you can do.

If you weld up the dif. on it you wont like using it anymore. Honda commercial mowers are the only mower I have found that drive both rear tires.
