i put the firestone ones on my dodge, and they work great.
but the airlines/fittings leak--this is the only problem
ive heard many people have the same issue

if i fill them to 40 lbs, over the course of 2 weeks they will have
slowly leaked down to about 20 lbs

Firestone #5000 bags under my 2500 HD for 4 years now. I love them and they have been trouble free.

I have the AirLift 5000 bags with the wireless remote system. The only thing extra that I did was have the air compressor mounted to it's own custom made bracket to help cut down on the noise.

Because Timbrens are not adjustable. I had Timbrens front and rear on my 05 Chevy 2500 and they did an ok job but now i have Trimbrens front and firestone ride rites in the rear of my Chevy 2500 Diesel and I like the adjustabilty a whole lot better and the airbags hold the truck up where as the Tribrens only work compressed.

so can you put air bags on the front, like for plowing? I might look into the bag for the rear of my 2500hd

firestone makes an air over shock for the front of the chevy's, around 550 for a set i believe, prolly the best add-on you can do for plowing.

installed the firestone 5000 bags on the rear of our chevy and it holds great, its usually running around with 2-3 yards of wet grass clippings in the bed and a 8.5x24" enclosed trailer behind it and it still holds a raked stance lol.

ive had firestone bags on our 1 ton chevy dump truck for a while now and havent noticed any substantial leaks at all, and that thing gets overloaded all the time...

the 06 f350 srw we just got recently came with timbrens front and rear, and that thing rides stiff as a board, i like it b/c its more of a work truck but you'll like the more forgiving nature of the air bags, plus they can carry alot more weight.

I put the same ones on our work truck (Chevy 2500HD, 4x4, crew cab, long bed). They have been working great for two years. Our cargo trailer has 12kw Onan generator on the tongue that weighs about 850lbs. The chevy squatted a lot until the air bags. Now she rides level. I wish I would have put the air tank on there too. It would have come in handy for filling up tires.

Air bags and weight distribution hitch make a huge difference on the truck.
