We picked up a used 255sx and all seemed OK but now we have a problem. Machine drives smooth in forward and reverse under no load in work and transport range. Under load it tends to be a jerky drive ( lunges forward ) and this happens in plow and transport range drives locked or unlocked. Fluids are clean and topped up. We have not changed the hydraulic filter but were told that was just done prior to our purchase. Engine runs normal ( not erratic ) It has a 3 inch bullet on the existing plow blade. Could it be too much resistance? Is the pump pooooooched? surely both drive motors would't have issues at the same time. Do you have any ideas? Got plow firly cheap and it only has 600 hrs on it so I don't mind to put a bit of money out to fix it.

    3" is quite a lot for a 255

Ditto on the 3" being way too big for the 255.
