JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE WITH A PROBLEMPTO IDLER SPRING
What kind of machine is it on? How many times has it broke? Maybe your just getting some bad springs.
I think its a gravely
I think he is talking about the 260Z by gravely (as John said).
I have lost my idler spring this year too with about 500 hours on it. I was out in the field when it happened and I just used some heavy wire I had in the tool box to patch it to get through the day.... 5 months later the wire is still there. I am going to replace it next week though because my bearings are shot in a different idler on the other side of the deck.
Matt if the wire works keep it there
