I would like to sit down and ask some of these weasels advertising how to get companies cheap foreign labor using H1B visas what they think is going to happen when they can't fit any more newcomers into the country? Since only new arrivals work this cheaply, it means that it requires a never-ending supply of immigrant workers. And since our country is projected to have a population of 500 million by 2050, just how many people is too many? And finally, when we do finally have to cut off the spigot, how will we get the job done then?

The owner of this LCO company in my area.
I have acually had the pleasure to meet one of the retired co-owners.
I would like to ask him if he had a cance would he have went down a different carrer path?
If he likes going out everyday busting his butt or sitting in the office all day.
basically ask him to be a mentor....
This company is not only the biggest around but does the best work EVEN BETTER THAN ME. I am in complete envy of the work the company does.
Not only does he make alot of money(one of my customers is a good freind of his)but i would be extremely proud of myself for having a company that does such awsume work!

The one person i would like to chat to would be Jim From Jims Mowwing Australia he now runs the bigest lawn and garden care franchise in aus i have read some of his books and think half a day with this man could help my new venture greatly.Also would love to meet some of the members from this forum if they ever get over to australia as some of the information on this site has been a GREAT help to myself.
Well at the risk of repeating what others have said, I would love to have been able to talk to Eric. Being new to this site it seems I've came in at the tail end of something good. I keep hearing a lot of things other have said about Eric, but it is still not the same as coming from, shall we say the horse's mouth. You know how some things seem to always just be in reach, but you just some how can't reach it. So it is here. It was here with Eric, just in reach, but now gone.What questions would I ask. It would be many. One thing is for sure though... the knowledge that was left with others here at LawnSite is flowing and getting better everyday..

Being this is a fictional question, I would talk to myself fifteen years from now. I would find out what worked/didnt work in the business, whcih equip purchases to make, and which customers to take/give up. Imagine knowing 5 years ago what you do today. This would be invaluable.
I would like to go back in time and talk to the person that installed my irrigation system here at the golf course and let him know that he should make a copy of blue prints of the system just for me. And let him know head to head coverage would be great.

I'd like to sit down with that guy Paul James from the HGTV show "Gardening By The Yard". He's a nut, fun to watch, and quite knowledgeable. I enjoy his shows, and think he would be an interesting study.

If I could talk to one person about the business, I do not have a specific person, but I would like to talk to the inventor of the line trimer. The insight he must have had to come up with the idea of saving som much time, would be more valuable to me, than talking about other things. There is so much to learn from people and their experiences, I don't disagree, but to be inventive, and put yourself one step ahead of what everyone else is doing, that's where I'd like to be.
Imagine being able to do something every other LCO does in 45 minutes, in only 3 minutes.

I would like to meet and talk with the following people: John Allin who has totally dominated the snow removal business (way to go on winning the snow management of the last Olympics, Eric Elm who had a ton of green industry knowledge but more importantly had the ability to share this knowledge with others.
