Anybody use these things? I know of one LCO that them uses them on small lawns, but everybody else around here has quit using them for various reasons. Local vender quit selling 'em too...same reasons (mostly liability issues regarding turf damage). Seems to me these were a fad ten years ago.

I just can't picture myself walking behind one of these 4 foot wide shields at a slow pace trying to cover 10, 20,30 K or more. But one outfit runs TV ads saying they use these 4 ft shields....."clings to vegetation", "more uniform coverage", "better results". Now don't badmouth me here, cuz my good friend runs this outfit. Just being objective here.:usflag:

Anybody uses these? Curious. rscvp, thanks.:usflag:

I use shielded spray systems (mostly on the front of a ZTR -11ft swath) and I personally really love it.. I can spray in any wind conditions, and it does get VERY uniform converage, using a mist instead of large drops that can run off the leaves.
