{belt drive}when the belt is engaged the machine vibrates terribly then smoothes out, it has PTO, the dealer said this is normal, what do yall think, by the way this machine is 3 days old:hammerhead:

do you mean the deck belt and/or deck-drive belt or when you "engage" the wheel-drive belts?

    Is vibration gone at WOT?

It's normal for mowers to carry on when you first engage PTO at low engine speeds.

only when the blades ungaged, the dealer said to increase the rpms then engage the blade, then adjust throttle, does this sound right

Vibrates only when the blades are ENgaged?

At what throttle position? Idle or WOT?

New belts always take a little time to get flexible.
