Hi everyone. I do maintenance for a property management company, previously I worked at a golf course for 4 years. The company decided to have me mow some of the commercial properties. I estimate it will take 8 hours a week to mow. There are no major hills so my question is what kind of mower do you guys recommend for 8 hours a week approximately 200 hours a year. Was thinking a ztr, but the real question I guess is will a residential ztr be able to handle 8 hours a week. Thanks for any help.

If is it residential quality it is designed for no more than 100 hours annually and probably less than 300 total hours. I would guess that these are both optimistic numbers.

Commercial ZTR's routinely do 500-1000 hours annually and are easily capable of 2000+ hours before a major overhaul is needed.

Considering the commercial ZTR only costs 50-100% more and you will get 500-700% more use out of it, I know which way I would go.
