I,m looking at getting a 1999 Chevy 2500 (extended cab, long box, 4x4,
6.0L). The dealer is asking 13,5k (firm) it has 85,000mi. With a mini van trade in and some money down I,m looking at $7,000. Does this sound like a decent deal.

i may be wrong but $13.5k seems pretty steep for that truck.....what options in it? new or old body style?

No way would i pay that for the truck to high if it had miles in the teens perhaps but it's still a old truck.

    look it up in www.kbb.com

never pay what the excellent (or highest) blue book. offer them the lowest and print off the kbb value and bring it in to them. If they sell it at kbb price keep in mind they are making at least 3-5 thousand off of you. just my 2pennys
