    Hey folks...

I have been a member for over a year but I was afraid of posting pictures because of horror stories of some guys here on L.S... However, I got some great advice from some of the veteran members and I believe that I can safely share with you guys. I am going to start a 2014 picture thread once the season gets rolling but I thought I would share some stuff from 2013. I wanted to personally thank everyone that posts pictures here as well. One of the best ways to learn is to look at images and be able to ask questions about them...

As you guys can see there is some beds with edging and some without. I personally think that a nicely cut edge that is well maintained looks great....

I actually LOVE doing patios and retaining walls but I don't have as an extensive background as a lot of guys here. Don't let DVS see these pictures! OOOPS... forgot the pics...

I totally agree with you a natural edge is the nicest way to go when done well, and yours look great. The only critique ill offer is the flower bed curves way too dramatically along the front of the house.

Plant selection looks good, will mature into a nice landscape.

Did you block the cellar window?

Sorry! Tried to post another picture of a patio at the same property but having problems...

    Thanks for the comments guys...

You are correct RedSox... That is a very dramatic curve.. hahaha... I and I won't blame it on the homeowner like other guys will do... LOL... That one was all me...

The cellar window shot is a bit of an optical illusion... There is a nice 2 ft. space in between. Now, in 5 years, that might not be the case so I will have to prune accordingly..

The one planting I regret is the feather reed grass being at the front of the bed... I kind of wish I would have found a space for those in the rear....

Again, thanks for comments guys! I have some more pics from this property that I will post as soon as I figure out what happened...
