Know that fact all to well, The Army was in this big rush to get me here to turn around and send me to get Certified to use their crane. And know I sit waiting for a crane mission, they better hurry up cause we're turning ours in soon to get shredded.

A few more of this place.

Surprisingly very close to the American version,
Trying to get my trailer up and going before the next day's mission outside the wire. It looked like nobody greased the axles in about 10 years or changed the fluids for a long time. Note don't mind the scrap's down the side, had a little fender with local national truck last time out.
For all those that complained about having to carry a M16A2 around calling it a musket, Well I found this one digging a trench.
Had some tab's made up as a joke, being the one of two heavy equipment operators with the unit.

Thanks, I try to stay safe, at as far as my wife knows. If she saw some of the things over here she would kill me, probably show me the knife first lol just kidding. Not looking to get a purple heart.

I guess we made the AFN news, http://www.dvidshub.net/video/299767/afghan-national-army-literacy-center#.UiiPJMgo7IV

Well its been a while. Made it home on the 24th of December just in time for Christmas, which was awesome and I never in my life had a police escort to the "welcome home ceremony". Cool fact: Its been 7 years since our battalion has had everyone home for Christmas. Its been a honor to be overseas, I got to meet and work with some awesome people and learn different cultures, dealing with the local terps "Frank" and "Brian", Task Force 10 American/Romanian SF group, Australian Engineers, Afghan Engineering Corps, and of course the American forces and various contractors.

Thank you lawnsite members for your support.
