Mike , when did they stop making this?
Long gone. No need to steal sales from the I-20
Boots is right, a long time ago..that's a testament that they're still truckin'.
The change to the I-20's, for me, was they offered a 6" stainless rather than
the 4". With flow stop, the "Ultra" is at the top of my list. The RB 5000 stainless
seemed like a cool head, Hank installed them for me with MPR nozzles last year, but the front end coverage seems way too much.
I have had worse luck with the 6" I-20's than any other head.
I probably installed about 100 of them in the last season I worked, and out of that 100, about 6 were bad out of the box, and at least 20 of them were hard to adjust because the stainless collar would freespin. Additionally they tend to leak from below the rotor head and the shaft.
Ive been having that problem with pgp,s this yr. Called my Hunter rep yesterday and came unglued on the poor guy. Pgh,s need to be taped or they leak , 2-3 pgp,s leakingright out of the box. Made for a stressful day.
So you PRIMED HIM GOOD HUH!
When buying cases, you've got make sure they were made on Wednesday,
not Monday or Friday.
Ive had the same problem with the pgp..Bad seals, right out of the box..
And for the first time in a long time a 4 inch 570 leaked on me the other day....
first in a long time.
Start trucking with the big dogs, if you can take the pace.
