i was looking in my new Turf magizine and saw a pic of the JD skidsteer. It had the "verticle lift" and looked like it had a very high lifting height. i see New Holland also has this same type of lift, they call it the "power boom".

Is there any advantage to the JD or New Holland Skid steers because they use the "power boom" which is kinda like a double lifting arms. Or is the regular single lifting arm just as good, like Bobcat uses?

with the verticle lift you can lift more and higher, plus it doesn't end up in your lap tring to load a truck

I have driven both a 753 and a newholland and like the way the newholland is.But I think that JD has improved apon the newholland design just a little bit have not had the pleasure of running a deere yet.

We had problems with our JD, it's gone now replaced with a New Holland
