I hate these threads but give me a break. I have a buddy that wants to give me 200 bucks for a SHindy EB 630. I paid 495 in 2001 and it is a used piece of equipment. The straps are tearing, the far tube is a little beat. Overall it blows ok but I want a Redmax. Bottom line I am thinking of putting it up "as is" on e-bay or even here and starting at 225 bucks. WHat do you guys think?
And once again, sorry for the noob like post but I need input.

I say take the $200. $25 difference is not worth the hassle of ebay and/or shipping.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...take the $200.

From your description $200.00 is a fair price or better. Take it. Don't be greedy.

Like Tom said, it's not worth the hassles to box and ship things like that. I know, we did it a few years ago when cleaning out back up equipment. I put it all on eBay, and it all sold, but boxing and packing all that crap(bp's, edgers, and trimmers) to take to UPS really sucked. take the 200.00 :D It has probably made you ten - twenty times as much since new

Thanks for the replys gents. I was thinking on the same lines but the thought of e-bay was not really to make more bucks as much as the friend selling friend thing can sometimes be a bad thing. I know its a decent blower but I always think that I sell it to a friend and 2 weeks later it blows up. I think it will give him good service for his needs (noncommercial) but I can't guarantee it. I did tell him these concerns up front and he is good with it. Friendship is worth more than the money so if it isn't right I will just take it back from him.
    Once again, thanks to all.
